Snowflake Cut-Out Craft

I chose to do this craft because it seems like an appropriate fit being since we have had lots of snow in Pendleton lately. This craft is easy and fun for kids of all ages that can be trusted with scissors. It is a perfect activity for Christmas vacation because you can decorate the snowflakes how you want and can even color them as well.

Supplies:

→a square of paper

→scissors

→a garbage can to throw away the scrap paper

→if you want: coloring supplies to customize the snowflakes

Directions:

• fold the square of paper diagonally 3 times keeping track of the middle
• cut out shapes and designs on the sides how you want
• unfold the paper carefully for the finished product
• if you want, color the snow flake
