Makayla Fossek otherwise known as Kayla has a view about teens in Pendleton, Oregon. She is the youngest of three children. She likes to be the youngest because she is not expected to carry much else besides her own weight.
She loves school but is not a morning person. She believes that underage pregnancy is dumb because no one should be doing those types of things until after marriage. She also thinks that too many teens are experimenting with drugs and/or alcohol. That the “fads” that rush through the town are not understandable, and that physical violence is one thing she will not tolerate. She knows that a real friend will be there for you while a fake friend would throw you "under the bus". She wants to be a veterinarian even though her dad is a taxidermist. She also had a surgery to reduce the scar on her forehead, and is taller than the average middle school boy.
She may be simple but she is quite outstanding. In all Kayla is a remarkable young woman. Her beliefs are strong and independent and she will not be deterred from where she is heading. Hopefully she will become what she wants to be because she knows where she's going. I admire Kayla for her outstanding and simple nature I hope that more teens will follow in her footsteps someday.
