Dream of the Runway

A bucket list is a list of things that one wants to experience or achieve in their lifetime before they “kick the bucket” or in other words pass away. Many people have a bucket list to remind themselves of their goals in life. Something on their bucket list might be small like collecting each states quarter to something big like traveling the world. I’d have to say one major thing on my bucket list would be getting signed to a modeling agency, although I don't expect to be the next Tyra Banks or anything of course. Tyra Banks was one of the top earning models of the early 2000’s and is one of the “Victoria’s Secret” original angels. I know that rising to this won’t be easy but I’m willing to put up a fight to prove everyone wrong. After all, you have to fail in order to succeed.

I guess I've always been interested in modeling.. I love to watch “Americas Next Top Model” ironically hosted by Tyra Banks. Also I just love the way that a photographer catches the models beauty along with their surroundings. Two years back while visiting my dad down in Phoenix, Arizona a lady that worked and modeled with a John Casablancas center told me I had real beauty and that my aura was glowing and powerful or something like that. She gave me their website along with her phone number if I had any questions. I think that a part of me inside me realized that thats what I wanted. It would be so amazing to have that experience. Posing for the camera shots I imagine feels amazing and gives you much confidence. I guess I won’t know until I try!

I still have so much researching and preparing to do if I really want to cross this one off the bucket list, I know that. I need to commit physically and mentally and am slowly working on that. Starting out with getting in shape for example. If all goes as planned I will most likely be moving to a bigger city sooner or later like Los Angeles. Moving to a larger city will give me more opportunities, lessons and experiences. Modeling school is something that I could do in a bigger place that would really benefit my future. If I ever were to get big in the modeling world I would start a modeling project for real beauty highlighting so called flaws such as wrinkles, stretch marks, or wide hips. My mission in doing this would be to prove that there is beauty in everything.. some just don't see it.
