She has played sports year round. Her main sport is basketball when she plays her favorite position is point guard.Ellie Nirschl is 14 years old has played basketball since "pre-K dude" she played basketball at Kids Corner pre-school. Ellie started out playing basketball without a position but later learned she was a point guard and a good point guard for that matter. When she played she was always very competitive in basketball and all sports. Ellie really like to play basketball and other sports as well. She started playing at five years old.
Next As she gets older she wants to pursue other dreams than basketball but she does like to play. Ellie started playing because she grew up watching it. For one of her younger birthdays she got a basketball and a hoop she put up in her garage. From then on she played basketball in her garage with her father. Ellie has been playing since "pre-k dude'' or somewhere from 8-10 years give or take a few. With that much practice she is pretty good at basketball. Ellie may be good enough to make to the Women's National Basketball Association or WNBA but that will take lots of dedication and practice it would also a great achievement.
Ellie said she that she doesn't want to play in WNBA. She doesn't want to be in the WNBA because she would like to pursue other dreams and the WNBA doesn’t pay that much and your career gets cut short. She said that she thinks she could with hard work and dedication. Ellie is very competitive against everybody and even a little bit competitive with her own teammates. Ellies said having goals for the season is important for playing because it gives you drive and something to work for. Ellie's goals are to be better than she was last year, when things don't go your way to play well and don't let her emotion get the best of her. She has these goals because she wants to be noticed as an athletic figure and as a regular person also as a clam and collective person. Ellie also said that she wants to be noticed as a person that if she makes a mistake she fix's s the mistake. Most people don't just get up and do something they are inspired.
Ellie wasn't inspired by anyone surprisingly, she was inspired at a very young age by the game it self. Ellie's funniest moment of her basketball is when her team was at a national qualifier for state basketball and she got the ball inbounded to her and she turned the wrong direction and scored a point for the other team. Ellie said that they still counted it for her teams points. Ellie said that she and her team had a good laugh then continued the game.
In conclusion I have learned that Ellie Nirschl is a very respectable talented young women who is very athletic. With this information I have learned that to be the best you can at sports you need to have practice and dedication with high self respect. I would like to thank Ellie for letting me interview her and for getting to know her more. I know that she will be playing sports for a while and be very good at it.
