Summer Treats

Sandal Cookies

What you will need; Oval cookies (any kind but preferable sugar cookies)

Brightly colored frosting

Gummy worms (sour and/or reg.)

Rope licorice

M&Ms

How to make;

1) Get two cookies each and frost them.

2) To make the straps you snip the rounded ends off of the gummy worms, then slice in half lengthwise leaving a small space where it is still connected. For thinner straps use the rope licorice.

3) Press the straps to one end of the frosted cookie, connected end first, then if you want add an M&M at the top for a jewel.

4) Voila, your sandal is completed.

If you are looking for a sweet summer idea for you and your kids these

are the ideal treats. They're simple and fun to make for any age group. For
parties, get together's or just for an activity to make when you're bored. I 
chose these wonderful cookies because they looked delightful with the bright colors of frosting and goodies.
