All about the Sasquatch

This interview is fresh off the press, and today's is about a single eighth grader. This man doesn't talk much, kind of like Sasquatch, but we managed to catch this Portland man for an interview. His name is Logan. He claims his favorite music artist is Eminem due to the fact that he adds clever rhymes in every line. Now rhymes can be useful, but too look smart you need to use quotes. His quote he claims he enjoys is "Every joke has a hint of truth in it" by anonymous. I don’t know how, but he came up with this quote right off the top of his head.. 
This reclusive creature may not talk much but he has several things he thinks are pretty cool about him. He moved from Missouri a year ago, and was homeless for two days while moving. This bacon loving dude joined publications because he was good at writing and photography and thought he could bring some useful skills to the table. His skill in photography was developed in 4-H. In 4-H he also does shooting and cooking in 4-H. His other hobbies are swimming, cooking, and basic graphic design. This interview appears to be over as this sasquatch is walking away.

A Riddle of Me

Every day you see me, just walking in the halls. One glance and I’m sure you know nothing about me. A few of you will immediately guess, but for others you’ll be pondering it for days. This riddle may be challenging or no problem at all. My physical appearance is easier to guess. I think I’ll finish with that. Beginning with some simple traits, my favorite colors are blue and black. My favorite word is hope and my initials spell S.M.S (Sunridge Middle School). I’ve been to many interesting places including Europe, Florida, and the winter Olympics. I’m looking forward to my year with the New News Now crew. I plan on trying to include everyone in all my photos and to take good action shots.  Simple things check, on to the obvious. My hobbies include softball, mountain biking, skiing and swimming. So here is my riddle for you. “Who is the girl that loves being outdoors and in the water?” It’s me! Sam!!

Introduction to Abby

       Somewhere in the world there is a town. Somewhere in that town there is a bright yellow school. And somewhere in that bright yellow school there is a fourteen year old girl who reads like crazy. This girl is ambitious and has many goals to reach in her future. This girl with long brown hair and brown eyes adores puppies and chooses blue as her favorite color. This girl whose favorite subject is language arts has two brothers and three sisters. This girl has read and enjoyed the Hunger Games series and the Mortal Instruments series. This girl is a library aide, in chamber choir, and an awesome writer in student publications. This girl who does substitute paper routes with her mom on the weekends is Team Jacob. This girl used to have four dwarf hamsters and currently has two ferrets and two dogs. But most importantly I would never want this girl to change who she is or what she does, because this girl is me, Abby.

Colin

There is a boy in Pendleton, Oregon. He is very athletic, and loves sports. No doubt he is jolly, always with a smile on his face. He is very handsome, or at least that’s what his mom says. He is brave never shying away from a challenge. He is also in publications and brings creativity to the table. He is a dork, who dreams of learning the force and restoring balance to the universe. This man is a funny dude, who loves a good joke. He is semi-smart and tries his best, but most of all he is Colin.

All About Annalise

Who’s an aide for Mr. Brizendine first period? Who plays the clarinet and is very shy and timid? I am Annalise. I was born in Alaska and lived there for five years. I am half Alaskan- Native and half German. I am in the yearbook committee because I’m good at writing and taking pictures. My favorite color is blue and my favorite movie is The Hunger Games. I am the second oldest of four children. I have an older sister named Agnes, a younger sister named Alyssa, and a younger brother named Richard Jr. I moved to Pendleton in 2004 and I have lived here ever since. I enjoy drawing, sketching, and coloring. I collect snow globes; I have ten snow globes right now. Every different place I go I try to buy a new snow globe. My favorite actress is Jennifer Lawrence and my favorite actor is Adam Sandler. My favorite song is “Cowboys and Angels” by Dustin Lynch and my favorite singer is Demi Lovato. That’s all about me, Annalise.

All About This Chick

Who is this chick? She is crazy in the brain, only with her friends. She is quiet only during class or when the teacher isn’t talking. She loves to go shopping with her friends or her mom if her mom will take her. She is blonde, blonde hair and blonde on the inside! She is very responsible and nice. She loves fashion, she will read fashion magazines and play dress up with her sister/best friend. So then she knows what to wear and how to wear it. She is very respectful. 

Does anybody know who this chick is yet, I am running out of clues. 


She lives with her mom. She has a dog at her mom’s house and two dogs and a cat at her dad’s house. She hates her brothers, JK! She has a brother in the 7th grade and a brother in the 4th grade. They both live with her dad. Her first name starts with a B, just to narrow it down. Her dad works at Gordon's Electric and her mom works at Bi-Mart.
This chick is Brooke. I like publications because you can take pictures and write. So far it has been really fun.

You Know My Name, Not My Story

She’s got brown eyes, and she’s 4’11. She’s shy at first, but crazy when you get to know her. She loves her friends and family. She loves unicorns, M&M’s, and One Tree Hill. People who drive her crazy bring out her insecurities. She can’t stand being rushed. 
She dislikes the month of May, because she thinks its her bad luck month. Her favorite poem is a little something from her grandfather’s obituary, “When tomorrow starts without me and I’m not there to see, if the sun should rise and find you eyes filled with tears for. I wish so you couldn’t cry the way you did today, while thinking of many things we didn't get to say. “ 
Her family isn’t perfect but it’s good. She lives with her mother and her two brothers,Ethan and Jared. She likes to run even if its not her best sport. She likes to think the whole town celebrates her birthday because it’s during Round-Up. 
She doesn’t like the songs of today, she likes it old school. Her mixture of food seem strange and gross to other people, she likes to eat mac and cheese with ketchup, and salmon with syrup. She has her moments, but gets to experience them with her friends. 
She joined Student Publications because she thought she could make a tiny bit of a difference.Her personality is what everyone likes the most, she is loved for being herself. Her name is Katie.

Brown hair and brown eyes,

If I’m playing softball it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Bumping, setting, spiking too,

Volleyball is something I also love to do.

Going on peaceful walks,

Having long and meaningful talks.

From going crazy with my friends,

To being lazy on the couch,

Losing everything from my pencil pouch.

Wanting to live in Italy,

I’m longing to travel to somewhere new.

A change of scenery would surely do.
