Practice makes perfect!

Every person is unique and has different talents and interests. One of mine happens to be playing the piano. After three years of practicing daily, with lessons once a week, you would think I have it down pretty well. Well, you’re wrong. Playing the piano is definitely something that a person has to work at constantly to perfect, and while I like to think of myself as a master of it, making mistakes is a constant. But as I have learned in life, practice makes perfect, so I continue to try my best at the thing I love most, playing the piano.
To play piano, you really only need a few things: A piano/keyboard, a method of learning (either an instructor or yourself), creativity, and lots and lots of patience. When I say “lots and lots of patience”, I mean it. Playing piano is certainly not something you are able to teach yourself overnight. Like I said before, I have been at it for three years and still have some trouble every now and then.
The first thing to consider when learning to play piano, is teaching yourself the major notes you will always use. Then comes the sight reading, then the rhythm study, and even still, the song playing. And then finally, the practicing. Don’t forget, practice makes perfect!
