Abort Abortion

      Imagine the sweet scene of a newborn baby being held by its mother for the first time, whether it is the birth mother or not. A new found bond has been made, a love that will last forever. Then imagine that opportunity being taken away willingly by a parent. Abortion should only be an option under extreme circumstance. In 2008 approximately 1.2 million abortions took place in the United States. That Is 1.2 million lives being taken.  
     When I think of abortion I think of manslaughter, either way you are taking another person’s life. It shouldn’t matter if they are born or not.  So many parents can’t have children, that want to. Adoption.com says that around 120,000 children are adopted every year, so why would anyone choose abortion? Taking an innocent life is wrong, and that is exactly what you are doing. Life brings great opportunities along with many hardships and trials that make us who we are. Don’t take these chances away from someone just because you aren’t ready for the responsibility. Babies are life’s greatest joy, let them live.
