Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe

Peanut Butter Cutout Cookies
I chose this recipe because I heard about them and thought they sounded good. I like peanut butter cookies and I like cut out sugar cookies so these cookies sounded like a good combination of both.

½ c of Creamy Peanut Butter
½ c / 1 stick of Margarine
½ c Firmly packed brown sugar
½ c Granulated Sugar
1 Egg
½ tsp Vanilla
1 3/4 c Flour
¾ tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Salt

Beat peanut butter, margarine, sugars, egg and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until smooth.  Beat in remaining ingredients at low speed just until blended.  Divide dough in half.
Roll each dough half about ⅛ inch thick on well-floured rolling pin.
Cut dough into shapes with cookie cutters. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes or until lightly golden.  Cool completely on wire racks. Re roll dough trimmings to cut additional cookies.  Decorating with frosting, icing, decorative sprinkles and candies is optional.

Review: These cookies are delicious with a good rich peanut butter taste. These are easy to make cookies that can be made with your friends and family.  They are a perfect treat for santa claus.
