1) Blonde to brown. “I love my blonde hair. But I want something new.
What can I do?” asked Maryland from Kansas. This is a typical
situation. Someone wants a different color, something new. But not over
the top. If you want a nice, overall one color , try the semi-permanent
hair dye. This dye can last from 3 weeks, too two months. If you want a
good deal, and a nice overall outcome, try the foam dye. This will get
you the overall coverage you want with the price you can afford.
2)
Dark to light. “My hair is black, really black. And I want more of
a softer color. I tried to dye my hair a light blonde, but it hardly
helped. What do you think will help?” asked Tyler from China. Black is a
dark color and it can be hard to make lighter, without the harmful
effects of bleach.
3)
Brightness. “I am a very outgoing person and I want some bright
colors in my hair, but I’m not quite sure how. Help?” Crazy hair sounds
fun, but you might want to reconsider this if you have thin or weak
hair. To start off, if you have brown to black hair, you might want to
bleach it. But only if you want the bleached, bright look. If you want
more of a natural look, I suggest skipping the bleaching step. If you
want a certain part of your hair dyed, clip the extra up, out of the
way, leaving the part you want out. Put conditioner on the edges of the
section you don’t want dyed; to prevent spreading to areas you don’t
want the dye. After this, follow the directions on the box.
After you have your new doo, be confident with it. But warning: chemicals in the dye are harmful, permeate, and may cause damage to your hair.
