“Pass, set, hit,” yells my coach from the bench during our intense volleyball game. That is one of the many things that you will hear from all of the coaches on the volleyball court. Volleyball is a really fun, and exciting girl's sport. When you have played volleyball for as long as I have you would know that there are some specific things you will need to be able to play the sport. The things that you will be needing to play the game volleyball is the proper shoes, knee pads, and the right clothing. You will need tennis shoes, and this so that you have traction and can get to wear you need to be to get the ball up. You are also going to need knee pads, this is because if you go to dive and save a ball you don’t want to hurt your knees by landing on them with all your weight and injuring yourself. Wearing knee pads will prevent you from doing so. You also need the proper clothing for practice or a volleyball game, which is something like, athletic shorts that allow you to move around in a quick motion and a t-shirt that allows you to also.
Do you ever wonder on what you should eat before a volleyball game? I used to have the same problem deciding on something good to eat before a game. In my opinion, the right nutritious meal you should eat before a volleyball game is, something healthy that is good for you like a banana not junk food. You shouldn’t eat unhealthy food for a snack before a game, because if you eat something not good for you, it could make your stomach upset and you might get sick during the game. If you eat something good for you, it will benefit you in the way you play and think.
Finally, the right way to warm up before a volleyball game is stretch out your arms and legs so that you don’t pull something trying to serve, pass, or set, a ball during a game. You should also practice your serving and passing so that you are warmed before the game starts. If you are a setter, you should practice your setting so that you are ready to set the ball when you need to. These are all important ways to succeed in playing volleyball. Link For Photo |
