Jitters in the waiting room when you're at the dentist with bare teeth. You take one final look at the “Old you” and document it with a picture before you make the huge step into “New you”, your heart beating as fast as a charging bull. You hear the dental assistant call your name as you wobble over with shaky hands and steps. Deep breaths is all you can tell yourself. Worried about all those nicknames.
No need to stress. Even if you're already in those so called “Nightmares on your teeth” this article can help. My personal tip is to Listen to the orthodontist they know how to help. when they say a specific thing to do or not to do they actually know what they're saying, because they either A)Have been in braces or known someone with braces or B) Have gone to 10 years of college and post college studies or the almighty C) Have done both. The orthodontists are not out to punish you they are only trying to help your teeth or jaw structure. It might hurt for the first little bit but it is all worth it in the end. Believe me I have been in them for almost a year on October 15 @ 10:15 am. The payoff is beyond belief and all expectations you have ever had.
Picking out the colors for your braces is hard to decide sometimes. I feel that if you go with the color of the season or more settle colors for fall or Halloween, blue or Christmas colors for winter, brighter orange or greens for spring, and bright colors or happy colors for summer colors. I feel that when you pick more complementary colors to the season will help you feel better and more festive and not overdressed with your braces color. Think about longer periods of time think 6-8 weeks and will I like these tomorrow.
If you are getting braces soon then follow these steps and it will be easy as pie ( well almost). With hard work and time on your hands and floss and a toothbrush you can succeed and get out of dental prison soon.
