Dear Spring,

Thanks for coming this year. For some reason, thinking about you makes me so happy. The cool breeze you bring us that feels so nice laying in the cool grass. The nice warm sun you bring that doesn't burn our skin, but warms our hearts and make us feel nice. It’s really soothing thinking about you, I always plan the things I’m going to do once you finally arrive.

There are so many things that I love about you. I love opening the window and feeling the stale winter air clear out and feel the cool breeze of spring blowing on my face. I love waking up to the sound of the birds singing, and the sun beaming into the cracks of my window blinds. I love walking outside to get the mail and looking at the colorful tulips that pop right out of the ground and start growing in little buds. I love watching new life grow, from flowers to bright green grass, to fruit and vegetables. I love being able to lay in the grass and not freeze to death, nor burn to a crisp. I love being able to take naps outside in the middle of the day thinking it's still early morning. I love being able to watch the leaves start to grow on trees, and I love watching the clouds form into different shapes. I just love everything about you.

There are so many things I can’t wait to do when you arrive. I can't wait to go outside when the tulips and violets have finally grown and put them in a vase that will decorate my house with all their colors. I can't wait to hang out with my friends and be able to sit and relax while we just talk for hours. I can't wait to buy one of those harnesses and hang it up in the trees and lay there. I can't wait to buy a bunch of books and read them outside while listening to the birds tweeting all day long. I can't wait to start my flower garden again and fill it full of flowers of all different colors. I have so much I want to do when you get here.

    Thanks Spring, for all the things you do for us! You know, I never really thought about how much you mean to the people around you. You create new life and joy to everyone and I wanted to thank you for that. Stay for awhile, we wouldn't want you to leave when you just got here.
