The ninth grade. Never thought I would get there so fast. Since the fifth grade I was kind of afraid to move up. Now since High School is almost here, I’ve never been more worried. I get good grades, so that won’t be a problem. The work will get harder, but everyone has to try their hardest. The High School is so much bigger than the Middle School and I don’t want to get tardy. I think that might be the fear I am most worried about. I don’t want to make a bad, first impression by being late to class. I will miss some things at the Middle School, like some of the teachers and younger students, but High School is going to be so much fun too. I get to see friends from different grades and even have a chance to make new ones. One thing I am really excited about is being able to be on the swim team. The coach already told me I will make varsity, but I am not sure. I am sure that I can’t wait to have the older swimmers’ help me be better. High School will be a new, fun adventure that I can’t wait to explore. In life it’s great to have changes and do somethings different. I think I am finally ready to think about college in a year or two and just have fun making my life great and full of adventures and activities.
