High School

High school. Nearing the end of the school year, it is becoming one of the most talked about subjects among 8th graders. Some are excited, others are afraid to leave behind the school that they have given 3 years of their lives to. High school is great for several reasons. It gets us to the next step in our education, it allows us experiences and lessons outside of education that we wouldn’t learn otherwise, and it is the start of a new adventure with people to meet and stories to tell. High school does have some drawbacks though. It is a big school with many hallways just waiting for you to get lost in, and it gets harder to balance homework and a social life. However, we will find a way to balance it all in our own ways. High school is a new journey that will be over in a flash, so don’t blink.
