First off, all schools have problems that they have, but one in particular that Sunridge Middle School has is people not going to class. Many students decide that they do not want to go class and simply stay in the hall. This has become a problem because this means that they are failing their classes. Two solutions that will stop this problem is, hall monitors and more severe punishments for not attending their classes. This problem started because students are not wanting to do their work. What they don’t realise is that their work just piles up therefore when they do attend that class they have piles of work to do. This whole problem would be solved if there were hall monitors. Hall monitors would walk around the halls looking to see if students are attempting to skip their classes. Brady chichester agrees with me here “ hall monitors would some people from skipping”
Not going to class makes students grades drop dramatically because they get zeros on all their papers. For students that skip this punishments of failing all their classes is not enough to persuade them to go to class. Therefore if there were more severe punishments for not going to class this might persuade them to do so. These punishments might be calls home and lunch ISD. Bella Baumgartner agreesv here “ making punishments for skipping worse would making them go to class”
Not attending classes has become a very large problem that needs to be dealt with. Yet all they need to do is increase severity of the punishments for skipping class and have hall monitors. Solving this problem would increase a lot of people’s grades in their classes and help out the schools reputation.
