In response to Jacob Dickerson’s article on school uniforms, I would have to disagree with your statements. If schools endorsed uniforms, some student would refuse to wear them, not only because they are ugly but because they would know what’s best for them and they know they have their own rights. It’s better to be and look different than being the same. Wearing your own clothes help define how people feel or feel or who they are. Some people like to wear dark clothes and others like to wear bright colorful clothes. Parents already tell their kids what to wear and what not to wear; we don’t need the school too. Students have a right to wear whatever they want.
