No School Year Round

We should not go to school year round, the opposite of Abby's article, because after several months in school we deserve some time to relax and enjoy the weather and take a break from the homework and tests at school. Also by going to school year round it cuts back on what you're able to do because there will not be much time left in the day by the time you get out of school. This means there will be less time for sports, vacations, and other summer activities. I personally show animals all summer and if I had school year round it would make it hard to fit that in the day or even year without missing days of school. I also have to find several hours in the day to work with my animals and a a lot of homework would make that hard as well. Some kids also get summer jobs, so by going year round they would have to cut back on hours or quit their jobs. If your school is anything like my school, with no air conditioning, then you know how hot it can get inside. Not only is it 100 degrees outside but it's just as hot inside. In conclusion, we should not have school year round because we deserve a break not less time to do the activities we want, and not stuck in an extremely warm school building.
