Cake Pops

I chose this recipe because cake pops are amazing. I've only made these once before and I loved doing it. You can make this recipe at pretty much any age, its that simple. Hopefully these are as good as the first time I made these.

Ingredients
  • 1 box, your choice, of cake mix
  • 1 (12 ounce) package colored coated candy melts, divided.
  • 1-2 containers of frosting
  • 24 lollipop sticks
Directions
  • Bake the cake as directed on box
  • When fully baked and cooled, crumble cake into large bowl and add the frosting into the crumbled cake, mix well.
  • Get a cookie sheet and lay wax paper on the cookie sheet.
  • Roll the frosted, crumbled cake into a round circle, about one spoonful. If the cake mixture doesn't stick add more frosting.
  • Place the circle shaped cake balls on the wax paper and stick one stick in the center of each ball,  put in the refrigerator/freezer for about 30 minutes.
  • Melt the divided candy melts in separate bowls then dip the rolled cake on the sticks into the melted candy.
  • Now stuff your face and enjoy!
After making and eating the cake pops I realized it was that simple. They were so moist and delicious. You can make cake pop for any occasion, Birthdays, holidays, just for you, anything. I loved them and hopefully the class did too.
