Sunridge Middle School, tons of memories in this place. Just like Outdoor School, I remember it like it was yesterday. From Buck Mountain, the nights in the cabins and eating those ants. Honestly, that was the best part of sixth grade to me. Then there was seventh, not much happened that year, although, during sports a lot happened on the trips. When we were traveling to the Dalles we stopped at the rest area and Lauren and I had to go to the bathroom really bad but the restrooms were all full. So Coach Williams told us to go to the men's room and listening like good players we did. Last but not least came eighth grade, the top of the ladder. A great deal happened like meeting new people, getting closer with more students, East Coast tour, the grading system sadly and so much more. I truly am going to miss this place.
Once we get to the top of the ladder we are headed right back down to step number one. The High School will be a big change. Not only the size of the school but by the variety of choices of classes and having different grade levels in some classes. Although, you have to look on the bright side to this big change. There is more to choose from in the areas of athletics, credits, electives, people to meet, driving, freedom and air conditioning! Yes, air conditioning, no more being cooked on the hot days we have. Simply, I cant wait to climb up the ladder again.
