This year has been my favorite year at Sunridge, out of all three years that I've been here. I've made many memories. Memories from outdoor school, the east coast trip, and at conferences that I got to attend will always remind me of Sunridge. I will miss my friends that I won’t get to be with in high school the most. In almost every place in this building I have made a good memory, from being outside seeing Jacob try to jump more than one hurdle at once to the first day of sixth grade in the commons and everything in between.
Despite missing Sunridge I’m also looking forward to high school. I’m excited to be with my older friends and relatives. I’m also looking forward to more freedom that I will have in high school and the different variety of classes and clubs there will be. High school will give me new experiences and challenges, but it will also bring new memories. Even though I’m looking forward to high school, I’m nervous for all the different tests there will be, getting to know a different school, and the closer it is to choosing what college I would like to attend.
In the end I will always miss Sunridge and I’ll remember all the good memories that came along with middle school. I hope my high school experience will be as great as my middle school experience.
