Decorating your room is easy. Your room should make a statement about you. It should be how you want it, not anybody else. Decorating your room shouldn't be stressful or boring. It should be like a fun little experience for you. If it’s boring or stressful you’re doing something wrong. 
To start off: what is your favorite color? Your favorite color should be the color of your room. If you don’t have the money or materials to paint your room, you should hang up drawings you or an artist made. As long as it's something that will put a little color in your room. You can also have little designs over the base color of your room like polka dots, stripes, and stars. 
Next if you have have a window you should get a curtain. There are lots of different designs. There are sparkly ones, rainbow ones, even ones of your favorite celebrity. After that you should add a personal touch by hanging up some pictures of you, your friends, and family. You can also hang up posters of your favorite band, actor, and/or supermodel. 
Finally you should have furniture like a mirror, couch, desk, or anything that describes you. Now your room should be exciting and a place you will always want to hang out in.
