Red, yellow, orange,
A flurry of color across the ground,
And all of the Halloween candy has been eaten,
Thanksgiving will soon be around.
Thoughts of loved ones and friends float all around,
Pictures from the past appear,
Fill the heart and mind,
Thanksgiving is finally here!
Scrumptious aromas float through the air,
As they bring out the turkey,
Out comes the stuffing, gravy, and rolls
Thanksgiving the time to eat.
Once we have been stuffed like the turkey that we have just eaten,
We lay down our heads,
To sleep,
Thanksgiving is finally over.
